Mufti Nabil Khan was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. He began Islamic studies at Al-Ihsan Institute at the age of 15, where he became a Graduate of the Dars Nizami under the supervision of Mufti Aasim Rashid and other esteemed instructors. In the 5th year, Mufti Nabil Khan also studied in Darul Uloom Bury in the UK. Mufti Nabil Khan completed his Islamic Theology studies (Dars Nizami), this includes a formal study of the 6 major books of hadith under senior scholars such as Mufti Aasim Rashid and Sheikh Abduraheem Limbada.

He currently serves as an Imam in several local mosques leading prayers, teaching youth, and conducting programs of all varieties including Arabic and Islamic studies.

Mufti Nabil Khan has successfully completed a two-year specialization in Islamic verdicts (Fatwa) at Darul Ilm Birmingham. Furthermore, he conducted his dissertation on the ruling of FOREX trading, defending his research findings on a global platform and receiving an esteemed honors grade for his work.

He has spent many years in North America working on Islamic Finance awareness and advising on many different levels. He has extended his services to the global Muslim community, offering expertise on the fiqh of Zakat and supporting fundraising initiatives worldwide.

He is a Shari’ah Advisor and founding member of NZF Canada’s Shari’ah Advisory Board. Additionally, he serves on the Shariah Advisory Board of MuslimGive as the Chief Shariah Compliance Development Officer.
