A world where orphans, widows, and the needy are cared for, because charities uphold honesty and donors give with diligence and confidence.
At MuslimGive, our mission is to serve the orphans, widows, and the needy by protecting the funds intended for them.
We research and assess Islamic charities so you don’t have to, helping you give your zakat and sadaqah with confidence.
In a world full of causes, knowing who to trust can be overwhelming. That’s why we advocate for transparency and accountability, so your donations truly reach those who need them most.
We empower donors with clear, honest information, and encourage charities to uphold the highest standards.
When trust is established, giving becomes more impactful for everyone.
We promise to be honest in the information we present by being accurate and unbiased. However, if we make a mistake, we will take the necessary steps to correct it.
We are committed to being transparent by providing clear and accessible information about our methodology when assessing charities.
We hold a deep respect for both the charities we evaluate and the donors we research on behalf of.
Established in 2023, MuslimGive is an independent non-profit rating platform committed to helping donors give wisely by providing transparent and trustworthy charity assessments.
We review and rate Islamic charities.
Our expert team reviews publicly accessible data on Islamic charities to deliver fair, transparent ratings, so donors can give with trust and clarity.
Following our analysis and direct communication with the charity, we publish a clear, concise profile that outlines their performance, including scores and an overall grade rating.
Each charity is assessed across 4 core areas, with each one receiving its own individual grade. These contribute, based on weight, to an overall final grade.
All grading is based strictly on what’s publicly available. We don’t rely on insider access or unverifiable reports.
What is visible is what’s scored.
Key information is clearly available, with strong standards of accountability and openness.
A good standard of transparency, however there is room for improvement in at least one area, where gaps in information remain.
Some transparency shown, but one of more key areas lack transparency. More publicly available information is required. (Caution advised)
Multiple key areas show limited or no transparency. (Not recommended without improvements)
Little to no transparency across all or most areas. Strong need for improvement and accountability. (Not recommended)
Grades are based on available public information, not on private audits, on-the-ground impact, or operational effectiveness.
We’re focused on what you, as a donor, can verify before you give.
